The Vision.....

Vintage Weaves has been founded with a vision "To emerge as an equitable and significant player striving for global recognition to the textiles and crafts of the underdeveloped geographies of India, particularly Bihar by developing them in a sustainable, equitable and ethical manner and by scaling up their fair trade in order to make the local economies self reliant". The inspiration is Mrs. Asha Sinha, a cancer survivor who has been working for the weavers-artisans for the last 20 years. She is assisted by Mrs. Ram Kumari Devi and Mohd. Munna, both artisans. The co-founders are Kushagra, and Tejas, both Ivy League graduates who believe in harnessing the transformative power of a well-run business for changing lives by leading people towards self-reliance.
